The Howell High School Interact Club is excited to launch its Ribbon Warriors 2020 fundraiser. Ribbon Warriors is a fundraiser that provides support to members of the Howell Public Schools community affected by cancer. This year, Fund a Life, a local non-profit will help support the fundraising efforts. All money raised will be used solely to support Howell Public Schools families.

The school-wide fundraising effort to support Ribbon Warriors 2020 began on Monday, February 3 and runs through Tuesday, February 11. During that time, students will compete to raise funds for Ribbon Warriors 2020. Grade level teams will fundraise through online and in-person donations, selling items, and sponsorships.  Students (called ambassadors) will lead the fundraising activities for their grades and be active in raising awareness within the schools and with the community. This year, the Interact Club will be hosting the culminating event during the Howell vs Brighton Varsity Boys Basketball game at the Howell Fieldhouse on February 11 at 7 p.m.

In the past, students and staff have shaved their heads during the Ribbon Warriors event to raise awareness of cancer. This year students and staff have the opportunity to shave or donate their hair, but doing so is not required to participate.
