Students at Highlander Way Middle School recently learned about cyber
safety, bullying and their digital footprint during the Michigan Cyber
Safety Initiative (Michigan CSI) presentation. Michigan’s OK2SAY program
was also thoroughly explained to students during the presentation.
Michigan CSI is a program of the Attorney General’s office.
the middle school CSI program students learn what the OK2SAY program
is, how it works, what they can report, how to submit a report and what
happens when the report is received. Students also learn about bullying,
cyberbullying and how to protect themselves online and discuss the
power that their words can hold.
Parker Middle School students
will attend a Michigan CSI presentation on Sept. 22. The district is
working with the Attorney General’s office to schedule a community
