During its meeting Monday, July 25 the Howell Public Schools Board of
Education approved Timothy Moore as the next principal of Hutchings
Elementary School. Moore comes to Howell Public Schools from Hardy
Elementary School in South Lyon.
“Timothy stood out among a field
of very qualified candidates for the Hutchings Elementary principal
position,” said Erin MacGregor, Howell Public Schools superintendent.
“His experience as lead teacher, a member of the curriculum and
assessment development team and a member of the school improvement
committee have prepared him for this new role.”
“I am honored and
excited for the opportunity to lead Hutchings Elementary, said Moore. “I
look forward to meeting the staff, students and community as we prepare
for the upcoming year. “
Moore has been an elementary school
teacher since 2009. During that time he has served on several school and
district committees. Additionally, he is the director of the Junior
Jags Youth Soccer Development organization.
Moore holds a Bachelor
of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Educational
Leadership both from Michigan State University.
