Posted on 09/14/2016

Howell Public Schools Superintendent Erin MacGregor will hold two community forums on Monday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 28 to share with community members the scope and process that a committee of district stakeholders will undertake as it reviews the district’s facilities utilization. The Board of Education approved the process that will be discussed at the forum at its Sept. 12 meeting.

“One of the goals included in the district’s strategic plan is to review our facility utilization and ensure that we are making the best use of our resources,” said MacGregor. “We have a clearly defined scope and process that the Board of Education has approved, and I will be sharing that during the community forum. As a district, we feel that it is important to be transparent with our community throughout this process. I will be providing updates to the Board of Education as the Facilities Utilization Committee works through the process.”

The Sept. 19 community forum will be held at Parker Middle School in the Commons area at 6 p.m. The Sept. 28 community forum will be held at the district’s Board of Education room at 6 p.m. Parker Middle School is located at 400 Wright Rd, Howell MI. Attendees should enter Parker Middle School using the building’s main entrance located off Pinckney Road/D-19.
