1/19/17 - During the month of January Howell Public Schools is joining 540 local and 56 intermediate school districts across Michigan to thank its Board of Education during School Board Recognition Month. The seven members of Howell’s Board of Education spend countless hours of their time to ensure that Howell Public Schools provides the very best education to its students.
“Our Board of Education members are incredibly devoted to the job they have been elected to do. In addition to attending Board of Education meetings, each member dedicates a great amount of time and effort preparing for each meeting, attending committee meetings and visiting our amazing schools,” said Erin J. MacGregor, Howell Public Schools Superintendent. “Often the Board of Education is faced with tough decisions, and our Board always handles these in a professional manner. I am honored to work side by side with individuals who share the mission and vision of Howell Public Schools.”
In honor of School Board Recognition Month State Representatives Hank Vaupel and Lana Theis presented the Howell Board of Education with a proclamation honoring the Board during its Jan. 9 meeting. Additionally, the district will honor the Board during its Jan. 23 meeting.
The members of the Howell Public Schools are Michael E. Yenshaw, president; Stacy R. Pasini, vice president; Brent Earl, secretary; Grace Trudell, treasurer; Greg Gilligan, trustee; Courtney R. Tarara, trustee and Marcus D. Wilcox, trustee.
