Howell High School Drama Club to Host Sing Along to “The Greatest Showman”

3/5/18 -  Get ready for a night of fun and singing when the Howell High School International Thespian Society Troupe 6930 hosts a sing along to the film “The Greatest Showman.” At the event, the lyrics to the film’s musical numbers will be shown at the bottom of the screen at the audience will be invited to sing along. The event will take place on Saturday, March 10 at the Historic Howell Theater. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the film will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from Howell High School main office. All proceeds from the event will support the Howell High School Drama program.


“We are very excited to host “The Greatest Showman” sing along. The film has some amazing songs, and it will be a blast to hear the audience sing along with the film,” said Amanda Malo, Howell High School drama teacher. “All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will support bringing in guest speakers, student productions and help offset the cost of our students attending the annual Michigan Thespian Festival.”


Rated PG, “The Greatest Showman” is inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum and celebrates the creation of show business. The movie follows Barnum as he creates and grows “the greatest show on earth.”
